Quinn went through Santa Boot Camp these last few weeks in an attempt to undo her PTSD from meeting Santa last year. We can't say we cured her, that's yet to be determined, but we have succeeded in getting her to love Christmas!

45/52: we spent last weekend in vermont. traveling with a two-year-old on a long road trip is not without its challenges. we learned a lot, but smiled a lot, too.

46/52: we came back this week and revisited our happiness. it was great to see that smile again.

I'm going to say that this was the best beach weekend of the entire summer. Outstanding weather, low tide lending perfect little tide pools for toddler play, and extra special time spent together with family, friends, neighbors, and strangers. Smiles were had, naps were pushed back, and life was lived.

Maeve McDonough Khichi. Born at 3:08 p.m. on July 28, 2014. Nine pounds and two ounces of deliciousness. It's safe to say Quinn & Maeve are already besties.
